Our people: the heart of Nambour & District Care
Nambour & District Care's strong reputation within the community for delivering quality in-home, respite and social support services is because of its dedicated team of care support workers, nurses and domestic assistants who are kind, compassionate, and respectful. They offer dignified and empowering care to each of their clients.
Each support worker undergoes an extensive recruitment process to ensure that they are qualified, capable, trustworthy and reliable. Furthermore, all NDC employees are required to maintain a current National Police Check.
We also invest in the skills of our support workers through regular training sessions. This means that they are well equipped to deliver the high standard of care that our local community has come to expect. Support workers are also given regular opportunities to further their skills in the areas of disability care, medication management, and dementia care.
Our skilled, professional and caring workforce of more than 130 people includes three Registered Nurses, one of which is a Home Care Package Coordinator.
Our network of support workers operates with the backing of a dedicated administrative team responsible for billing and invoicing, scheduling and rostering, client liaison and communication, information technology, and fleet and facility management.
